why we need you…
Hoop Heroes℠ purpose is to promote every person living their life to their fullest, by paying it forward and keeping it going. We intend to set long term goals to aid in the development of our community by creating fun projects where people can socialize, be happy, hoop, and help. Please follow us as we work towards planning future benefit events that will help raise funds for such organizations as Bodie’s Place, ConservFest, and The Get In Touch Foundation®.

A Charity Event to Benefit Bodie’s Place
Hoop Heroes™ Club will be hosting a fun charity event to benefit Bodie’s Place, www.bodiesplace.org on Sunday, October 10, 2010, World Hoop Day. Bodie’s Place is a non-profit organization seeking to build a boundless playground in Milford, CT for all neighboring Connecticut communities to use. A boundless playground allows all children of varying degrees of physical abilities to play together with there siblings and peers.
The day will be filled with fun hula hoop games and competitions, with cool prizes for Best Trick, Best Partners, Longest Hooper, Best Costume, and Most Pledges. Live music will be performed by The Clams, surf rock band, and all participating Hoop Heroes™ will receive a fun size sparkle hula hoop with their registration fee.

Ages 4 through 12 are eligible for participation and all are welcome to cheer on in support! We are big fans of “The More The Merrier!”
Location: Milford Academy Field – 34 Park Circle, Milford, CT
Time: 12pm to 5pm (Games begin at 1pm, check in and hoop pick up is required prior to 1pm)
Pledge forms and funds raised may be turned in the day of the event.
