She is an artist, a designer, a writer, and a music, dance, food, and wine lover, and of course a hooper! Mary-Beth has lived in New York City and Chicago for the past 12 years, unknowingly, preparing and cultivating through life’s journey, for what she has just now begun to accomplish. Nothing seemed more clear than to combine all her natural abilities and interests and follow her passions, which led to an entrepreneural adventure in 2009. As the Founder and Creative Director of we sell hoops LLC, her primary objective was to promote the power of connection through a community focus. Creating a product that unites people of all ages in a positive way, was a vehicle to encourage the public to give back as a cooperative spirit. While generating a small town buzz through fun-loving, grassroots promoting throughout fall of 2009, she has introduced the booming hooping culture to Connecticut. Adults and children expressed an immediate desire to learn and practice hooping, which has led to innovative community programs beginning in spring of 2010. As a company, we sell hoops LLC, is building on this interest by partnering with local charities to develop exciting new events for 2010-2011, to help raise funds for their cause.

Clare’s amazing ability to articulate her never ending, constant stream of thoughts, contributes to the rhythm and the creative flow of our company. Her vivid ideas are often the foundation and inspiration of many of our collections, one in particular is our “Discotheque Collection.” This collection was born on Clare’s “Neon Luck” hoop. Her design derived from a found object after a visit to the park. The object was a yellow foam sticker with the word ‘luck’ inscribed on it. She then giggled, “How lucky is it to find a sticker with the word ‘luck’ on it?” Clare was certain that she was going to choose bright neon colors of yellow, fluorescent pink, and glossy fluorescent orange to complement her hoop!

Feisty, go-getter and fun loving attitude, Chloe is a force to be reckoned with. As a budding young hoop star, she is constantly challenging herself to learn new hoop tricks. Chloe thrives on helping other students and she is always enthusiastic about teaching other children her skills. Her sassy charm is reflected in the many design ideas and color combinations that she has contributed to our collections. Chloe’s favorite green sparkle tape has inspired numerous of our sporty designs and currently, her input has been invaluable in creating our upcoming Tropical Series. She is a seasoned hoop crew member and often is the highlight of group demonstrations.

Liam has a natural gift for connecting with just about anyone from the moment of introduction. He possesses an ‘old soul’ personality with an uncanny charismatic ability to extract a multitude of information within a single meeting. Liam’s ‘cool kat’ skater boy, snow surfin’ ways are reflected in his preferred color choices, which was the sole inspiration for our Winter Series ski theme. His blue-green- yellow combo was the foundation for the ‘Pro Shop’ Designer, Glow in the Dark hoop, which has become our most popular item of the series.
